Description

In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Department of Veterans Affairs has entered into a single source contract award with ALCON Laboratories for the purchase of two (2)Centurion Vision Systems with handpieces for the Portland VA Medical Center. This procurement is via purchase request 648-17-2-9961-0052. The award date was 29 March 2017. This was an emergent requirement in that the two existing units have experienced failures in the operating room and the current equipment poses a danger to the patients.
