- Solicitation Announcement for Optical Coherence Tomography machine for Lake Charles CBOC The Department of Veterans Affairs, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA 71101 intends to issue a Purchase Order IAW FAR 13.106 for purchase and installation of a Optical Coherence Tomography machine for the new Lake Charles CBOC. The Specifications/Salient Characteristics are below. Vendors are invited to submit quotes IAW the attached RFQ to Paul Filhiol via email at paul.filhiol@va.gov by noon (CST) on 18 April 2017. Set-Asides This procurement is Set-Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB.) SPECIFICATIONS FOR OPTICAL COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY MACHINE. High-resolution spectral domain-OCT devices (SD-OCT) would be required to detect subtle retinal changes through use of High resolution Tomography. MINIMUM EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Optical coherence tomography (OCT) Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: Carl Zeiss Meditech, Inc. OR EQUIVALENT as listed below: Specifications/Salient Characteristics: All images taken on this machine are saved automatically to and does not require an additional server to store information. Spectral domain OCT Superluminescent diode (SLD), 840 nm Transverse resolution 15 m (in tissue) A-scan 2.0 mm (in tissue), 1024 See Attached RFQ for further information.
