Description

The US Forest Service, National Forest in Florida, will issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed IDIQ contract on or about May 1, 2017 for road maintenance on the Apalachicola National Forest, Wakulla and Apalachcicola Ranger districts, Wakulla, Leon, Liberty and Franklin Counties, FL. This solicitation will be issued under FAR, Part 12. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The contractor will perform specified road maintenance on Forest System Roads in accordance with the Statement of Work such as blade and compact, general road repair, unscheduled equipment transport and equipment rental, clean and re-shape ditches, drainage structure cleaning, drainage structure installatio or replacement, mowing, and erosion control. This is a presolicitation notice as required by Federal Acquisition Regulations. No questions are being responded to during this required period.
