Description

Solicitation VA69D-17-Q-0846 Notice of Intent to Sole Source reference FAR 6.302-1. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center is procuring the supply of Steris Vision 1327 Cart and Utensil Washer/Disinfector for the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to award on a sole source basis, IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Steris Corporation 5960 Heisley Road., Mentor OH 44060-1834, as the only responsible source to provide the above. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 339113 and the size standard is 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation of offers, and there is no solicitation available. All responses received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
