- Sorting LIne Conveyor along with its Installation and Training for Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NO RECEIVE A RESPONSE. U.S. Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) located in Okinawa, Japan is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential sources qualified and able to compete for a requirement for Sorting Line Conveyor along with its Installation and Training for Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. MCIPAC is conducting market research and is seeking written responses with information to assist the Government with identifying potential sources that are interested in and capable of performing the work described below. SCOPE: The scope of this effort is to provide a wide range of services for a Sorting Line Conveyor a new Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan to ensure safety and proper use of this equipment. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all management, special tools, supplies/materials, equipment, and qualified personnel necessary for installation, commissioning, and training of a Sorting Line Conveyor. These services will be performed at the Recycling Center. The Government may provide forklift support at the Recycling Center as necessary. DELIVERY: Door-To-Door, to physical address of warehouse on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan INSTALLATION: The Government will provide the transportation of the items from a local warehouse on Okinawa, Japan to the Recycling Center and will unload the truck. The Contractor's tasks include assembling, installing, electrical wiring and commissioning of the equipment. The Government will also provide equipment such as forklifts and/or crane, which can only be made available locally, during installation. TRAINING: The Contractor shall complete the installation of the equipment prior to providing training. The contractor will train up to 20 personnel on the safe use and maintenance of a Sorting Line Conveyor. The Government will provide a translator for Japanese nationals. The Contractor shall also provide 3 copies of operation and maintenance manual in both print and CDR respectively at the time of training. Training Certificates shall be issued at the end of training. The Government may video record the entire training event. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The Contractor shall start the services within 30 days from the notification by the Government. Period of performance shall be no longer than ten (1) working days for installation/commissioning and training.
