Description
The contractor shall perform Architect-Engineering (A-E) services provided under this procurement listed in the range of tasks, a thru d, outlined below: a. Restoration Services: Perform restoration activities at Michoud Assembly Facility that include the following: preparation of work and management plans, providing technical support and consultation, providing remediation activities, conducting field investigations and samplings, preparing analytical sampling and testing, developing risk and ecological assessments, developing and monitoring well installations, characterizing and determining extent of contaminations, providing services associated with the operation and maintenance of treatment systems, and community outreach support. All restoration services shall comply with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and other appropriate regulations and laws. b. Compliance Services: Conduct compliance audits and inspections to evaluate environmental operations, program strengths and weaknesses, and program objectives. Provide environmental compliance training to NASA personnel and environmental professionals. c. Management System Services: Provide support to the existing environmental management system. Support shall include supporting document preparation and maintenance, managing environmental records, and conducting ISO 14001, Environmental Management System audit activities and training. d. Communications Support Services: Provide NASA-wide communications support for activities related to environmental remediation, community involvement, sustainability, real property activities, and database planning and management. Provide support to NASA at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL) in Ventura County, California. Contractor shall work with NASA to plan, coach on appropriate public responses, and provide public meeting presentation materials for various community meetings in support of the SSFL cleanup project.
