Description
The Horizontal Baler System along with Installation & Training THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NO RECEIVE A RESPONSE. U.S. Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC) located in Okinawa, Japan is conducting market research to determine the availability, interest and capability of potential sources qualified and able to compete for a requirement for the horizontal baler system along with its Installation and Training for Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. MCIPAC is conducting market research and is seeking written responses with information to assist the Government with identifying potential sources that are interested in and capable of performing the work described below. SCOPE: The scope of this effort is to provide a wide range of services shipment and installation for a two-ram horizontal baler with tongue and groove plate flooring and above-ground conveyor (the horizontal baler system) at Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan to ensure safety and proper use of this equipment. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all management, special tools, supplies/materials, equipment, shipment and qualified personnel necessary for installation, commissioning,, and training of the two-ram horizontal baler and above-ground conveyor. These services shall be performed at the site of the Recycling Center on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The Contractor shall provide any special warranty information on specific areas of the machine, i.e. hydraulic pumps. DELIVERY: Door-To-Door, to physical address of warehouse on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan INSTALLATION: Contractor's tasks include assembling, installing, electrical wire service connection and commissioning of the equipment. The Government will provide on-site material handling equipment such as forklift and/or crane with its operator during installation if required. TRAINING: The Contractor shall complete the installation of the equipment prior to providing training. The Contractor shall provide training to the Government personnel. The following procedures shall apply to training; •a) TOPIC 1 - Safety, Machine Components, Machine Set up •b) TOPIC 2 - Operation •c) TOPIC 3 - Maintenance, Troubleshooting DELIVERABLES: The Contractor shall submit following documentations to the Government. •a) For each equipment, provide four (4) hard copies of operation and maintenance manuals in English. Manuals shall be included breakout of equipment and replacement part numbers for every component. •b) For each equipment, provide four (4) soft copies of operation and maintenance manuals in English (Four (4) CD-ROMs (or DVD-ROMS if exceeds CD-ROM capacity)). No evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents; however, the Government does reserve the right to contact any respondent and/or respondent reference to obtain additional information. At this time no solicitation exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation.
