- This is a PRESOLICITATION notice for the following: The 374th Contracting Squadron, Flight LGCAB, Yokota AB, Japan intends to procure on a full and open competition basis the following service: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, moving truck, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform packing and moving services to support new room reconfigurations within current buildings and between buildings within the Camp Zama High School Complex, Camp Zama, Japan. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, moving truck, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform packing and moving services for Yokota High School's move to the New Yokota High School and Yokota Middle School on Yokota Air Force Base, Japan and Sagamihara Depot, DRMO Warehouse, and offsite disposal site. The issuance date of the solicitation is projected to be on or about 17 April 2017. Note 1: We will conduct a site visit for both locations. The Camp Zama, Japan site visit will be held on 20 April, 2017 at 15:30 hours Japan Standard Time (JST). The Yokota AB, Japan site visit will be held on 21 April, 2017 at 15:30 hours JST. The purpose of the site visit is to answer any questions regarding the solicitation. All questions regarding the solicitation are due by 24 April, 2017 at 1700 hours JST. All interested vendors intending to submit a quote need to attend the site visit. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred to participate in the site visit. In addition, vendors need to submit the names of all the attendees to the points of contact listed below by 1400 hours, 13 April, 2017. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military bases. Note 2: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. Logistical support, airfare, lodging, or any other costs associated with performance will not be provided for this requirement. The successful offeror must be licensed and registered to perform work in the country of Japan. Note 3: Solicitation issuance and closing dates are tentative. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the firm dates at blocks 6 & 8 of SF 1449, once the solicitation is released, to ensure submission of your offer in a timely manner.
