Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source fixed-price contract to Voyager Search In. The purpose is to provide annual software maintenance and technical support. This is a special notice in accordance with Title 41 United States Code 1901(e) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i)Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available ( e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by 19 April 2017, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will proceed with awarding a fixed price contract to Voyager Search Incorporated.
