THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone interests. The Wilmington Healthcare Center (HCC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside an acquisition to provide Linen Services in Wilmington, NC. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: The Contractor will pick, deliver, and process all linen for the Wilmington HCC Specific Functions: The Contractor will pick, deliver, and process all linen for the Wilmington HCC. All linen MUST have a chip sewed into textiles and assignment of item to the chip for cleaning and inventory. The Contractor will pick, deliver, and process all linen for the Wilmington HCC Correct quantities of laundry/dry cleaning are delivered Laundry/dry cleaning is delivered free of contamination, all visible dirt, debris, dampness, offensive odors, mildew, and cleansing chemicals residue Laundry/dry cleaning items are properly finished and packaged All linen will be returned in clean covered carts sorted and folded by linen type Contractor will provide all lines needed for this operation Please provide GSA contract # if applicable If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; and (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. If any teaming or subcontracting possibilities are contemplated, please provide subcontractor s name and breakdown of labor. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: Friday, April 7, 2017 by 11:00 AM EST. All capable Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail via email to: tiera.clark@va.gov
