Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USMRAA) on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) is conducting market research to identify any sources with the capability of supporting this customized purchase requirement for laptops installed with QPC XScan software. In addition to the pre-loaded laptops, USAMMA also required various medical equipment repair parts which are also needed for Vertx scanner Computed Radiography (CR) readers requiring repair. MFR Part Number Part Description 500-0034-02/500-0034-31 BOARD POWER DISTRIBUT 500-0181-02 BRUSH BACK ASSEMBLY 500-0052-01/500-0330-02 BOARD ERASER COMPUTED 900-0258-01/100-1974-01 EAL LIGHT CATERPIL 500-0002-09 CASSETTE,COMPUTED R 10X12 100-0853-02/900-0061-02 COVER FAN FILTER 1S 500-0216-01/500-0002-08 CASSETTE 14X17 500-1247-03 SCANHEAD ASSY VERTX 1S 900-0134-27 & 500-0112-28 DVD/CD DELL 7404XFR 1S W/ QPC Xscan 32 Software Installed The required laptops loaded with QPC XScan software will be utilized as part of the CR readers by triage medical units as portable standalone medical equipment in the field. These computers, which are part of the larger system of the CR reader, cannot operate off of the Windows 7 OS image commonly found on commercially available laptops, such as a Dell Latitude 14 Rugged Extreme 14 Notebook. Rather, in order to integrate with existing medical operating systems, the laptops need to be loaded with proprietary software only available from iCRco, Inc. As part of an integrated medical equipment system in the field, the laptops require iCRco dongle-less version of DoD XScan, 64 bit installation, drivers, and configuration of DoD XScan software (QPC XScan 32 v. 2.10, Build 853, DoD Release) to operate independently for image capture, review, and transmission. At this time, the Government has identified the Original Equipment Manufacturer, iCRco, Inc. as the only available source to provide both the pre-loaded laptops with the proprietary software as well as the other related medical equipment repair parts that will satisfy the Government's need (as identified in the table above). This is a combined Sources Sought Notice (SSN) and Request for Information (RFI) only. This SSN/RFI is open to both large and small businesses. The Government is seeking to identify qualified sources under NAICS code 511210 (size standard: $38.5 Million). Any interested parties should respond to the this SSN/RFI to provide the following information, via email to lisa.m.zarick.civ@mail.mil no later than 9:00 am Eastern Time, Monday, 10 April 2017. 1. Certificate of distributorship or manufacturer agreements to verify that the interested Offeror is an authorized dealer or distributor for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), iCRco, Inc. 2. Documentation demonstrating the ability to provide the QPC XScan software (i.e. previous invoices, copy of commercial catalog on company's letterhead, etc). 3. Contact information of individual responding to this announcement. 4. Company name and CAGE code. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of Government contracts. All responses received will be reviewed to identify if any other parties are available to provide ALL required items listed above for the repair of the Vertx CR scanners. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations and NO contract will be awarded from this SSN/RFI. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No hard copy responses or telephonic questions will be accepted.
