Description
Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise necessary to design and construct the Dental Lab in B170 for the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital located in North Little Rock, AR. The scope of work includes the removal and installation of a 1,500 CFM, a 2,000 CFM and a 2500 CFM Roof mounted exhaust fan to replace existing fans with new fans serving the Dental Lab in B170 at The North Little Rock VA. Provide and install a new 8 inch metal duct in the ceiling cavity above room 2B-116 that connects to a new exhaust grille set in the ceiling. New exhaust grille to measure approximately 24 X 24, and determine best path to connect the 8 inch metal duct to the existing exhaust duct. Seal all duct connections with spreadable duct mastic to ASHRE standards. Install new Flex Duct connection at the fan to isolate vibrations from existing duct. Install new spring vibration isolators under each fan. Connect new fans to existing electrical disconnects for each fan following all NEC Codes. Verify new metal duct and grill size to provide a negative air pressure room balance of 6ACH for room 2B-116. Provide and install a new SEIMENS Brand control to activate all three exhaust fan systems. Control system will be tied to existing BAS system and will be programed by contractor for time of day. Control device will control all exhaust fans to operate for occupied conditions and turn off fan when subject room is non-occupied. Provide a detailed submittal for VA review and approval that shows exhaust fan and controls, No work on roof area will be allowed to take place until such time that subject submittal is approved. Provide a new NEBB Testing, Adjusting and Balancing service complete with written report of room 2B-116 and Traverse measurement taken at each exhaust fan to provide CFM readings of each fan. Provide new exhaust fan installation and a red lined as-built drawing of the new duct system installation, electrical wiring and controls. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $ 35,000.00. The NAICS is 236220 applies and size standard is $36.5.0 Million. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.sam.gov ; https://ss1.experian.com/BusinessIQ/login.html ; and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov. Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation also must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. You must register as Interested Vendor at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website.
