Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Alliant Healthcare Products, for the purchase of Olympus Video Duodenoscope, Orae- Radial Electronic Scope, and Ultrasonic Probes for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 339112 with a business size standard of 1000. The proposed contract is for equipment which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.301-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested sources may submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates ability to meet the requirement by submitting their interest in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to Tammie.chaney@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 AM CST on Monday, April 10, 2017.
