Description
This Sources Sought Notice is to determine sources for providing Original Equipment Manufacture GOLD SERVICE PLAN FOR THREE (3) MODEL ADVANTAGE PLUS AND FOUR (4) MODEL DSD EDGE MEDIVATORS IN SERVICE AT TEH DURHAM VAMC. SERVICE TO INCLUDE ALL PMS, PARTS, TRAVEL, LABOR AND UNSCHEDULED REPAIRS. Refer to items below for information. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to give first priority to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside. If insufficient veteran owned and small business response is received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid. Scope of work for service contract covering Medivators Endoscope washer/sterilizers in service at the Durham VAMC. Hours of service 8:00AM 5:00PM, M-F, excluding federal holidays. Service may be performed during off schedule hours/days by mutual agreement between the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) and the contractor and at no additional charge to the government. It is expected that most services will be performed during normal hours. Upon arrival to perform services the contractor will report to Biomedical Engineering. Documentation The contractor will provide hard copy and/or electronic copies of all service reports to the COR as soon as practical or within 14 working days of completion of the service. Contractor will maintain an electronic database of all services performed for no less than three years. Billing In arrears by certified invoice. Contractor Qualifications All Field Service Engineers (FSE) performing under this contract must be experienced in the service and repair of Medivators endoscope washer/sterilizers used in tertiary health care facilities. In addition all FSEs must have original equipment manufacturers (OEM) training on the model Advantage Plus and model DSD Edge and must have full and unfettered access to all OEM service publications and diagnostic service software. Clinical Support Specialist providing annual operator training must be OEM trained and accredited. Proof of experience and references must be provided if requested by the Contracting Officer and/or COR. Equipment to be serviced and scope of services Scope of work to include annual PM services and all unscheduled repair services for three (3) Advantage Plus endoscope washer/sterilizers. Services to include all remedial repair parts, PM kits, parts, labor, travel and software updates and patches required to maintain the equipment to OEM normal operating specifications. Included in the scope of work is unlimited technical and clinical telephone support from OEM-trained specialist and annual on-site operator training provided by an OEM-trained Clinical Support Specialist. All parts provided must be OEM-new.
