Description
Fixed Site Location Information Technical Requirements Document System Requirements Document The scope of the NAWCWD Ranges Spectrum Monitoring Upgrade project is to upgrade the current Real Time Frequency Monitoring capabilities of the NAWCWD Test Ranges. The project includes modernizing Radio Frequency Monitoring System equipment, upgrading and or relocating remote monitoring sites, upgrading the Central Monitoring Center (CMC) and Remote CMC (RCMC) Analysis Computers and Software. This is a procurement and integration project. All monitoring hardware and associated software procured for this effort will be commercial off-the-shelf (COTS). No software development is anticipated under this project. The objective of this project is to upgrade the Spectrum Awareness and Monitoring system on the NAWCWD Ranges. This is a large project, which can be broken down into the following areas: a. Real Time Frequency Monitoring Display Systems (RTFMDS) Sites - Includes equipment and antenna replacements, and in some cases, relocation. b. Signal Monitoring (SIGMON) System - Includes equipment and antenna replacements/upgrade and in some cases, relocation. c. Local Sites - Includes upgrade of PC and video displays at the Central and remote facilities. The contractor shall provide a complete and integrated Turn-key Spectrum Monitoring and Recording Capability composed of fixed site direction finding/monitoring/geolocation systems. The government anticipates a firm fixed price contract for the complete systems. Work will conducted at mulitple sites on and around the China Lake Ranges and Point Mugu Sea Range.
