Project Description: The USAF Academy Cadet Field House, built in the late 1960's, is configured around three major spaces; the basketball arena, the ice rink, and the multipurpose room. The Basketball Arena and the Ice Rink are located in the southern half of the building occupying approximately equal quadrants with the Basketball Arena located in the southwest quadrant and the Ice Rink in the southeast quadrant. The Multipurpose Room occupies the entire northern portion of the facility. The building has three main levels, spectator level, participant level, and multipurpose level. The spectator level serves as the public access space with its main entry on the south side of the building. The participant level is the floor elevation of the Basketball Arena and Ice Rink.
