- Description
- The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity order to Eastman Kodak for acquisition of supplies/materials for operation of the Kodak NexPress 2500 Digital Production Color Press operated by the Print Shop at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy. This department is responsible for the printing of training materials used in the training of MSHA inspectors, printing of special projects from headquarters, posters, flyers, mine rescue score cards and many other printing projects. This contract action is only for the supplies/materials required to operate the printing press. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may express their interest and capability by submitting a capability statement no later than 12:00 P.M. EST on April 13, 2017 to Mindy Smith at smith.mindy@dol.gov. No phone calls will be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
