- Note: This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Part (FAR) Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 15, Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposal. This notice serves as a Sources Sought in support of market research and/or planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. This notice is not a confirmation that the Government will contract for the items or services contained in the sources sought, nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied. This notice does NOT constitute an Invitation to Bid, a Request for Proposal, or a Request for Quote. The Government shall not pay and/or reimburse respondents and/or associates for any costs incurred to submit the requested information. All information received in response to this sources sought that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(c), response to this sources sought is not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Ave Philadelphia, PA has a need for air flow monitoring devices and installation. The purpose of this is to seek capable and responsible sources interested in performing this service. Responses will assist the Government with developing its acquisition strategy to include socio-economic set-asides. If you are interested in performing this service, please provide a brief statement of your capabilities. Additionally, if you have an existing GSA Federal Supply Schedule (GSA FSS) contract that you believe is within scope of this effort, please provide your GSA FSS contract number. Finally, if you believe there are ambiguities in the draft SOW, please identify them. Note that the Government will not answer questions about this requirement at this time. CRESCENZ DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS MEDICAL CENTER PHILADELPHIA, PA 19104 RME (Reusable Medical Equipment O.R. s (Operating Rooms) I.R. (Isolation Rooms) Monitoring Devices Work Statement Provide labor and material necessary for: 1. Provide submittal and wiring diagrams for VA Engineer approval and record. 2. Provide and install all new monitoring devices and equipment as listed in table below. All equipment shall provide local indications in area serving (sound and light alarms). 3. 4. Pressure differential monitoring device shall be TSI, Incorporated, RPM2 or equal Room should be in positive condition when door is closed (switch on positive position) The room should be in negative condition when door is closed (switch on negative positive) Alarm visual and sound indication if room does not meet the requirement demand. Device is equipped with silence button. Device is designed shall perform based on differential between the Isolation room pressures and the outside pressure. (total devices is 40 provide and) 5. Install new visual monitoring pressure direction by air flow indication or equal. Air flow direction, INC Ball-in-Wall model - Total 40 devices 6. Provide and install 20 room humidity and temperature recording monitors Total (20) 1 hour averaging temperature and humidity. Ex Tech Instrument Humidity and Temperature Chart Recorder or Equal, with AC adapter, plug to closet outlet device shall have batteries backup. 7. Provide manufacturer training for VA staff ( total 20)upon completing each area. 8. Provide one (1) year warranty labor and material after VA acceptance. 9. Work will require drilling holes in walls Work shall be coordinated with AC Shop Foreman at (215) 823-5800 extension 5103. 10. HVAC contractors with similar projects in health care will be considered 11. Job duration is 90 days. 12. END.
