Save the Date: As part of its ongoing efforts to consult with vendors, The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) will hold an "Industry Day. At this event, VA officials will provide an overview of the draft performance work statement (PWS). This is a key opportunity for members of the vendor community to engage in a dialogue with VA about our proposed acquisition approach to establish a West Palm Beach Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Contract. We encourage market participants to partake in this event and provide direct feedback to VA on acquisition matters affecting successful contract award. This event will provide a venue for VA to increase transparency about CBOC needs, challenges, requirements, and how to better do business with VA. A small business determination has not yet been made; this event will help the Contracting Officer make a determination. There is no cost to attend this event but registration is required. No onsite registration or walk-ins will be allowed. No more than two (2) contractor representatives will be allowed per company. Industry Day session will be held on April 18, 2017 at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 7305 N Military Trail West Palm Beach FL 33410-6400. To RSVP /register, please send email to Brett.cook@va.gov, seat confirmation will be sent to attendees listed on email. Within your RSVP, please indicate the following information: Name & Title of personnel attending Contact information for person(s) attending (maximum of two) Once an RSVP has been received, specific information regarding the industry day will be distributed via email. Please RSVP no later than 14 April 2017 at 8:00am eastern time. VA will try to accommodate answering all submitted questions during the Industry Day. This notice is for informational purposes only and it s not a solicitation of any kind or a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation document exists at this time. Questions and answers presented will be recorded and posted. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as proprietary unless specifically identified as such; please be aware that identifying information labeled proprietary mark may preclude it from being incorporated into the final solicitation. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day.
