- Scope of Work: The scope of the Mississippi River Bridge 2171 Bearing Replacement Project includes the following repair and maintenance items on a U.S. Forest Service prestressed concrete multi-girder bridge; remove and replace 20 elastomeric bearing pads (fifteen expansion and five fixed bearing assemblies), and clean and surface seal the prestressing steel at the ends of each prestressed concrete girder. Location of Work: The project area is located at the Mississippi River Bridge on Forest Road 2171. The site is on the Chippewa National Forest, Blackduck Ranger District in Beltrami County, Minnesota; T146N, R30W, S24. The project is within the Leech Lake Band of the Ojibwe Reservation boundary. The nearest town is Cass Lake, MN. Estimated Project Magnatude: $100,000-$250,000 The full soicitation package will be posted on this web site on or about April 25, 2017.
