Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice VA69D-17-B-0855 Project: Repair by Replacement Roof, Building 221 Project Number: 578-16-017 Location: Hines VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois The Hines VA Hospital has a requirement to replace the existing EPDM roof system, approximately 26,500 SF, including flashing, roof drains, and trim with a new Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Roofing System for Building 221 on the Hines VA Hospital Campus in Hines, Illinois. The project magnitude price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238160 (Roofing Contractors) with a size standard $15.0 Million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of 150 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about April 24, 2017. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for May 24, 2017. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database. All interested parties shall have a current registration and current annual On-line Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA) in the System Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov prior to award.
