Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a Request for Proposals and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the Government will take procurement action on this matter. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing information provided under this announcement. Responses will assist the Government in market research for determining potential responsible sources and to determine the technical capability of the production base. 1. OVERVIEW. The 670th CT, 411th Contracting Support Brigade is conducting a RFI market survey to identify sources with the interest and capability to upgrade existing Monaco Public Address system with Brand Name or Equal to the Monaco D-21 PA System with installation and training on Kunsan Air Base Korea for use by Emergency Services Personnel. 2. REQUIREMENTS. The basic requirement is for a Public Address System upgrade to broadcast emergency tones and voice messaging producing approximately 250 watts of speaker power and 70 volts of power to drive amplified speakers. The system shall be capable of broadcasting clear sound to numerous speakers on an all call basis. The PA system shall be capable of accepting multiple line inputs with prioritization capabilities that would allow Kunsan personnel to allow a higher priority message source supersede a lower source. Additional system capabilities being sought include visual notification through strobe lighting, LED speaker lighting. The integrated PA system also requires video monitoring by networked cameras in and around the fire station at dispatch workstations and digital voice recording that will allow calls to be recorded and logged to maintain historical call information. The Public Address System upgrade would require installation and training provided on location at Kunsan Air Base, S. Korea. 3. INSTRUCTIONS TO POTENTIAL RESPONDENTS - DELIVERABLES. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. Companies that desire to participate in this sources sought are encouraged to submit a response which supports the company's claim that it presently has the technology, qualifications, experience, and capabilities to satisfy the requirements. The response should discuss the company's ability to adapt and/or provide existing technologies that have the required capabilities. Specifically, any interested companies are requested to provide the following information: 1) Name of Company 2) Business CAGE code 3) Point of contact and phone number 4) NAICS 334220. Provide suggested NAICS codes for this program and your size classification based on these codes. 5) BAA/TAA Compliant? 6) Company certifications (e.g. ISO-9001, ASI-9100, CMMI) 7) Would you propose on a potential procurement as a prime or subcontractor? 8) Information on whether the product is considered commercial in accordance with the quote mark commercial item quote mark definition found in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 2.101. 9) Information on relevant similar products to the design that is projected to be proposed to include: a. Data sheets b. A description on why the product is considered relevant c. Any modifications that would be required to meet the technical requirements d. Total quantity of the item that has been produced and over what timeframe 10) Estimated lead time from date of contract award required to deliver finished product Comments on the above requirements are also welcome. Interested parties may submit their interest and ability to satisfy the Government's requirements to the point of contact listed below. These will be reviewed as they are received. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN Friday 21 April 2017. The Government reserves the right to close this Sources Sought Notice once it has received an adequate number of responses.
