Description
Draft Statement of Work Navarro, as a Prime Contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management (EM) Nevada Program (EM Nevada Program), is seeking individuals to participate on an expert Peer Review Panel tasked with reviewing the groundwater flow and transport model and associated documentation developed for the Rainier Mesa/Shoshone Mountain (RM/SM) Corrective Action Unit (CAU) 99 of the Underground Test Area (UGTA) Activity, Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). The purpose of the peer review is to determine whether the model, results, interpretations, and documentation are consistent with the requirements of the FFACO Alternative Modeling Strategy and Decision Process for closure of the CAU. The panel will consist of four individuals (including one chairperson) with expertise in the following subject areas: 1. Modeling of radionuclide transport by groundwater 2. Hydrogeology of the arid western United States 3. Knowledge of risk-based regulatory closure of contaminated groundwater sites 4. Environmental regulation and risk-based decision making, and environmental regulation enforcement. SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK for a more detailed description. Request all interested parties submit a Capability Statement, Sample Resume' and/or other descriptive literature which will provide sufficient detail to enable a preliminary functional evaluation. Qualified submissions will be issued a formal Request for Proposal. NO PRICING is requested or will be considered/accepted at this time.
