- The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 4 is issuing a combined synopsis solicitation to procure a service contract for evaluation of the Pharmacy mixing clean room operations and procedures at the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center (WBVAMC). The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. SCOPE: WBAMC is seeking a contractor to provide a complete overview of the pharmacy mixing clean rooms to include an audit/analysis of the standard operating procedures, mechanical systems, pressurization, and surface/air testing. A site visit is required to conduct all testing and evaluating per the statement of work. The goal of the pharmacy mixing clean rooms service is to determine any deficiencies, gaps, and non-compliances per the USP 797 and 800 requirements. Also the contractor s shall utilize their expertise and knowledge to provide recommendations for meeting the standards of USP797 and future USP800 compliance. General Qualifications: The Contractor performing the services shall meet any operating or licensing requirements for the state of Pennsylvania.
