- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on an other than full and open competition basis to Orbital Sciences Corporation. The contract will provide support to the NAWCWD GQM-163A target operations and maintenance requirements. It is anticipated that the majority of this effort will be performed at NAWCWD Point Mugu, CA. The Government contemplates a contract with an ordering period of five years, and anticipates award approximately in the first quarter of FY 18. The total level of effort is approximately 78,634 hours. The contract will include one CLIN for operation and maintenance, one CLIN for materials (each), one CLIN for travel (lot) and one CLIN for CDRLs (lot). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 3 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-16-R-0023 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule. Written responses shall be submitted by email to jessica.r.rodriguez1@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254410D (Jessica Rodriguez), NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV, 429 E. Bowen Rd. Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about May 1st, 2017 All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.
