- Description
- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 676-14-110: Install Elevators B407 at Tomah VA Medical Center, 500 E Veterans St, Tomah, WI 54660. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs). Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, and qualified supervision to replace existing elevator in Building B406 with two(2) new twin internal shaft towers, opposed elevator sets creating a new elevator lobby and removal of the existing elevator with space re-utilization in accordance with all Drawings, PG-18 VA Specifications, local and state codes. Work is to be completed within 370 days after Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about May 3rd, 2017, with the bid opening on/or about June 2nd, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
