- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the services described below. Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail and schedule a site visit appointment with POC GySgt Radi USMC at matthew.radi@usmc.mil tele# (760)-830-5122. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Interested parties should attend Site Visit Survey meeting being held at 10am 4/21/17 RESPONSE DEADLINE 14:00PST 4/21/17 POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT OR REFURBISHING OF FURNITURE TBD The intended contract period is within the next several months. See Key Details of some of the requirements: Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to PT at.gov. Questions should be completed after Site Visit Meeting stated above. Submit to POC GySgt Radi USMC at matthew.radi@usmc.mil tele# (760)-830-5122: DESCRIPTION The plan of this project is as follows and the contractor shall provide all items mentioned below: •a. This mess hall must remain fully operational while performing upgrades. •b. (1460 & 1660) A minimum seating area of 482 persons is required. The main mess decks have two lounge areas. One area will be the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and the other will be Non Commissioned Officer (NCO). The SNCO lounge has upgraded furniture compared to the NCO lounge. •c. (1460 & 1660) SNCO and NCO lounges. The dimensions of the NCO lounge are approximately 18 feet by 38 feet. (replace sofas, love seats, accent chairs, coffee table and end tables and replace with high top tables 4-6 man and 4-2 man tables (2 man tables are to made to fit the big SNCO and NCO table as extensions) There will also be two pub style tables that seat four people per table. The four man pub tables will be placed in the spaces where the sofas and love seats were taken out. •d. (1660) "S" shaped booth. The "S" shape will be refurbished with the same fabric. The base kick plate will be replaced with a stronger product than existing. The tables shall be refinished to match all tables. "S" shape booths will be repaired as needed to bring back to new condition and same color and fabric will be used to include a warranty. •e. (1460, 1660 &1880) replace all kick guards at bottom of all booths with stronger materiel, to include a warranty. •f. ((1)1460,(2)1660 and (1)1880) Cashier Booth will be refurbished with same fabric and color. •g. ((4)1460,(4)1660 and (2)1880) TV's. 70 inch TVs replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation in area already set. The replacement TV's will match the existing TV's in color to include a warranty. •h. ((8)1460,(10)1660 and (6)1880) TV's. 55 inch TVs replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. The replacement TV's will match of the existing TV's in color to include warranty. •i. (1660) Take Out Area. There are six regular booths in this area. All booths and tables are to be replaced with the same fabric. All tables are to be refurbished or replaced as needed. There are twelve tables. There is an existing countertop that will need to be taken down and booths will go there. •j. (1660) Outside Seating Area. Eight colored concrete tables with attached seating for four per table. Each table shall include a metal umbrella and a weighted base. The color shall match tables. •k. (1460, 1660 & 1880)Three digital menu systems are required. Each menu system is required to operate independently of the others. A menu system will be placed between the entrances and the cashier booths at each line. The menu system shall be slide show capable. 110v power is existing. Warranty work on existing furniture frames expires on Oct of 2018 and discontinued fabric on existing furniture needs to be matched same like. New work will be warranty for 4 years, with a turnaround of 48 Hours on all repair work. TVs will be commercial and have a 3 year warranty. BLDG 1460: •1. Replace table tops x 10 (refurbish or replace warn or broken table tops). •2. Upholster booth bench seats and back board X 25 ( 40 Ft. by 3 Ft. long same fab) •3. Replace kick plate abound booths 200 ft. (boot kick plate needs replaced with metal or strong durable plating) •4. Glass artwork x 8 (desert and natural ) back of booths on NCO and SNCO •5. Laminate sides of booths x 25 •6. Refit chair pads x 250 •7. 70 inch TVs x 4 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •8. 55 inch TVs x 8 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •9. Replace high top tables 4-6 man and 4-2 man tables (2 man tables are to made to fit the big SNCO and NCO table as extensions) •10. Replace hide away benches for 6 tables •11. Bumper guards no more than a 1.5 wide, placed where the dining tables meet the wall. •12. Corner guards where needed to stop damaging the wall. •13. Replace kick plate abound booths 200 ft. (boot kick plate needs replaced with metal or strong durable plating) BLDG 1660: •14. Replace table tops x 22 •15. Upholster Booth bench seats and back board X 35 •16. Glass artwork x 6 •17. Laminate sides of booths x 35 •18. Refit chair pads x 350 •19. 70 inch TVs x 6 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •20. 55 inch TVs x 10 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •21. Replace high top tables 4-6 man and 4-2 man tables (2 man tables are to made to fit the big SNCO and NCO table as extensions) •22. Replace NCO table •23. Bumper guards no more than a 1.5 wide, placed where the dining tables meet the wall. •24. Corner guards where needed to stop damaging the wall. •25. Replace kick plate abound booths 200 ft. (boot kick plate needs replaced with metal or strong durable plating) BLDG 1880: •26. Replace table tops x 10 •27. Upholster Booth bench seats and back board X 25 •28. Glass artwork x 4 •29. Laminate sides of booths x 25 •30. Refit chair pads x 250 •31. 70 inch TVs x 4 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •32. 55 inch TVs x 6 replace old existing TVs to include bracket and installation. •33. Remove and replace 2 man high table tops and replace with 4 to 6 man high table tops. •34. Bumper guards no more than a 1.5 wide, placed where the dining tables meet the wall. •35. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Quotations, Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the Government is requesting a short statement regarding the company's ability to provide the services outlined in the draft SOW below. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining to Set-Aside for the Small Business (SB) Community or to conduct as an Unrestricted Procurement. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate SB interest. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for information solicited.
