Description
Point of Contact: Contract Specialist Monique Paano at Monique.a.paano@usace.army.mil The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, is seeking interested sources to provide Park Attendant services at the Priest River Recreation Area in Bonner County, Idaho. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 721211, RV (Recreational Vehicle) Parks and Campgrounds and the associated business size standard is $7.5M in average annual receipts. This sources sought announcement is a tool to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work and is for information/market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS, NOR A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION UNDER FAR SUBPART 5.2. The type of solicitation to be issued will be depend upon information received in response to this sources sought announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow up information. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The results of this survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice. SUMMARY SCOPE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires Park Attendant services at the Priest River Recreation Area. The recreation area is approximately 1 mile east of the town of Priest River on Highway 2, in Bonner County, Idaho. Priest River is a 20 site campground with 5 separate primitive bike sites and day-use facility. The day-use area includes a beach, boat ramp with docks, playground, baseball field and a dump station. The beach area has a restroom with showers. The campground has one restroom with showers. The only campsites with water, electric and sewer are the attendant sites, all other sites contain a fire ring and picnic table. Work includes both checking-in campers and cleaning the facilities. The contract would require two (2) people to perform the duties. REQUIREMENTS: Interested parties should submit a capabilities package to include the following: 1. Company Name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address. 2. Business classification, i.e. Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantage Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8(a) Program, or Other Than Small Business (large business). 3. CAGE code and DUNS number. 4. Statement of Interest including previous Park Attendant experience or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform work similar in scope as described above. All interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their interest and ability. Prior Government contract work is NOT required for submitting a response under this sources sought announcement. SUBMIT TO: Responses to the sources sought announcement should be received no later than close of business on 17 April 2017.
