- Attachment C – Webinar PowerPoint Slides Attachment B - Capability Statement Instructions Attachment A - Draft Performance Work Statement Independent Review and Technical and Logistical Support for Regional Educational Laboratories Vendor Webinar & General Information The U.S. Department of Education (the Department) is hosting a Vendor Webinar Event to provide pertinent details regarding its Fiscal Year 2017 procurement: Independent Review and Technical and Logistical Support for Regional Educational Laboratories (REL Peer Review Support) on behalf of the Departments' Institute for Education Sciences (IES), National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE) division. The Department's intent is to host a Webinar during which interested parties and prospective offerors can obtain key information on the requirement, to allow for a robust understanding of the respective requirement in its entirety, to obtain valuable feedback from industry, and to provide a platform whereby both large and small businesses may obtain the information on other interested parties to support robust small business subcontracting opportunities, partnering and/or teaming arrangements. Attachments to this notice are as follows: Attachment A - Draft Performance Work Statement Attachment B - Capability Statement Instructions Attachment C – Webinar PowerPoint Slides A brief overview of the requirement and logistical information for the Vendor Collaboration Webinar Event is provided below: Requirements Overview The Department intends to award a contract in FY 2017 to provide external review of products produced by the ten Regional Educational Laboratories (RELs). The anticipated contract will include the refinement of existing review criteria, creation and ongoing maintenance of a web-based review application in the Institute of Education Science’s (IES) Data Center, and thorough review of REL products prior to release by IES. In addition, the anticipated contract will provide additional support to the REL program in the following ways: maintenance of the Ask-A-REL inventory and of Stakeholder Feedback Survey (SFS) inventory from all ten RELs, quarterly reports to IES on the Ask-a-REL inventory and SFS data, technical and logistical support for biannual REL Directors meetings in Washington, DC, and production of an updated REL brochure and for occasional webinars for the REL contractors.
