Notice Type: Posted Date: Firm Fixed Price April 13, 2017 Original Set Aside: Response Date: Open Market SMALL Business April 25, 2017 @ 11:00 a.m. (Set-aside is strictly enforced) Classification Code: NAICS Code: H963 Other Quality Control, Testing 561621 Security Systems Services And Inspection Alarm, Signal and Security Detection System Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7; hereby provides notice of its intent to award a firm fixed price contract for an Annual Fire Alarm Inspection/Testing, Fire Alarm Monitoring and Repairs as well as a Sprinkler System Inspection/Testing and Maintenance Services located at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. *This solicitation was also posted under VA247-17-Q-0211 on February 10, 2017 with the utilization of a VOSB set-aside. All bid offers received should reflect understanding of the solicitation and its requirements to fulfill this service. This contract will have a possibility of four (4) option years after the base year expiration. This is not a guarantee of a five (5) year contract. Please ensure the Statement of Work and the evaluation criteria for this procurement is read thoroughly. The Contractor must be able to provide 24-hour emergency services and monitoring; seven days a week, 365 days per year. Emergency calls must be responded to within 2 hours. A complete inventory of items and its location is required during the initial inspection. All required data/certification/licenses/qualifications must be submitted with the bid offer packages or they will be considered as non-responsive. Any prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. If you have not conducted business with the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center located in Columbia South Carolina, you will be required to complete Vendor/Payment Forms to be entered into the local systems in order to be eligible for award. Please ensure all bid offer emails and questions are titled referencing the Solicitation Number and Title of Service i.e. VA247-17-Q-0391 Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Testing. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the evaluation process and answering questions. All interested parties shall submit clear and concise documentation as required under the Evaluation Criteria (Section E) demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above along with their bid offer to Contracting Specialist, Cynthia Machuca at cynthia.machuca@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
