Description

Under Statutory Authority granted in FAR 13.106-1(b) the Government anticipates entering into sole-source procurement negotiations with Image Stream Medical a small business under NAICS code 541511 for a full-service software and hardware maintenance regime for the Image Stream EasySuite System at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 13.106-1(b). Other persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement by April 17th 0800 Central Time. Any capability must include proof of the vendor s ability to supply the software license directly from the OEM. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interest received on or before April 17th 0800 Central Time will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available.
