Drawing Synopsis - Replace Air Compressor Bldg 35 Solicitation Number: W912JB-17-R-4018 Restrictions: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Title: REPLACE BREATHING AIR COMPRESSOR IN BLDG 35 Location: Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045 (Macomb County) Issue Date: 14 April 2017 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: 0900 27 April 2017 Closing Date: 28 May 2017 Award date : Tentative 9 June 2017 REPLACE BREATHING AIR COMPRESSOR BLDG. 35. Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, is requesting proposals from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns for the award of a contract for the removal and subsequent installation of a new breathing air compressor in Bldg. 35. The Scope of work is as follows: The contractor shall remove the old breathing air compressor and dispose of. The contractor to purchase and install a new Hitachi or equivalent 30hp. Air Cooled Oil Free Rotary Screw Air Compressor. Power: 460/3/60 or 230/3/60. Performance: 117 ACFM @ 128 PSIG. 240 Gallon vertical tank with a safety relief valve, pressure gauge, interior epoxy painting/coating, and BM 33 CO hard coated zero loss condensate drain. The Contractor is responsible for all remaining work effort in order to provide an acceptable final product that meets the requirements of this Statement of Work and drawings. The projects magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns will not be considered. For Small Business information see http://www.sba.gov/. The following NAICS code 238210 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $15 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. Based on the projected magnitude this contract will not require a Performance Bond pursuant to FAR 52.228-15 through a surety company holding a certificate of authority from the Secretary of Treasury. However, payment bonds are anticipated to be furnished by the awardee. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements." The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W912JB-17-R-4018 information will be advertised electronically on/about 14 April 2017 at https://www.fbo.gov/ with an anticipated award date of 9 June 2017. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available.
