- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5M. Project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. The anticipated solicitation will be set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business only. Interested parties are advised that in keeping with the Veterans First Contracting program under 38 U.S.C. 8127-8128, as implemented under VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) subpart 819.70 and VA Procurement Policy Memorandum 2016-05 Implementation of the Veterans First Contracting Program, the Contracting Officer has determined a reasonable expectation exists that two or more small business concerns owned and controlled by Service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns will submit responses to the solicitation and that award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers the best value to the United States, therefore, the requirement will be set-aside for SDVOSB concerns. Description of Services Project 662-17-012, Replace Damaged Flooring, the project will be located at VA San Francisco Health Care System at San Francisco, CA. The intention of this project will be for: Contractor shall perform demolition, construction, and installation for Project #662-17-012 Replace Damaged Flooring Finishes, in various locations, located at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center as required by drawings and specifications. The Government requests that interested parties provide the following capability information to the Contracting Officer, Karen Smith by e- mail at: Karen.smith3@va.gov by close of business April 25, 2017: (a) Business Socio-Economic Status (SDVOSB) (b) SAM record (c) DUNS number (d) Bonding Capability; per contract and aggregate.
