- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT The United States Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), C-130J Division, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking to identify potential sources possessing the expertise, capabilities and experience needed to meet the following requirement. Provide two (2) KC-130J aircraft with the required Navigational Database and Terrain Avoidance Warning System (TAWS) subscription for two (2) years, starting 1 June 2017 through 31 July 2019. The KC-130J utilizes a Flight Management System (FMS) developed by Honeywell Aerospace Electronics Systems. The KC-130J FMS requires raw flight data to be converted from Jeppesen flight data to ARINC 424 format, then from ARINC 424 to P2000 format. The navigational database updates must occur every 28 days. This is a Foreign Military Sales effort for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is voluntary. Additionally, responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI/Sources Sought. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities, knowledge and experience with Communication/Navigation/Identification systems. This capabilities package should discuss specific examples of work performed as it directly pertains to this specific requirement. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any Government assessments. Interested firms shall also include the following in their response: - Company Name and Address - CAGE Code - Point of Contact - Size of Business (i.e. Large/Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) concern, Minority Owned Business) - U.S. or Foreign Owned Entity - Any additional feedback deemed relevant in the developing of this requirement Responses may be submitted electronically to the following email address no later than 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time, 20 April 2017, Terrance.Starks@us.af.mil.
