(FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY) Background The VA Facilities Management School (FMS) serves as the primary learning and development resource for the entire VA facility community. The FMS requires commercial off the shelf (COTS) essential medical gas systems training and certification for VHA employed healthcare professionals. FMS is seeking an industry partner who is able to provide instructor led and online ASSE 6000 series training and certifications. Instructor led training provides a traditional in classroom experience with more individualized instruction time. Online and instructor led trainings enable VA personnel at approximately 152 VA Medical Centers and other VA treatment facilities that operate and maintain medical gas systems to meet federal mandatory regulatory guidelines. Purpose The purpose of this effort is to offer online and instructor led ASSE 6000 series trainings resulting in certification to VA medical center personnel; Scope The contractor shall provide training and support, including, but not limited to, providing certified instructors, course materials (including shipping), website access, registration and reporting assistance, testing, completion certificates and other materials and fees necessary to provide the specified instruction and related services for the FMS. Instruction: Provide FMS with licenses that provide access to online and training for students to register for the following programs: 1. ASSE 6000 Re-Certification 2. ASSE 6005 Medical Gas Systems Specialist 3. ASSE 6010 Medical Gas Installer 4. ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Systems Inspector 5. ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Verifier 6. ASSE 6040 Medical Gas Maintenance Personnel Provide website URL for students to register for training and certification programs through FMS. Monitor usage of licenses and notify FMS when approaching limit if applicable. Allow purchase of additional licenses. Verify pre-requisites of students registering for training programs and assist with the application process. Provide certified instructors for face to face classroom based training. Support Answer any questions from students during training and certification. Provide FMS with reports of student completion, containing student email address and final examination scores, completion certificates and associated certification cards. Instructions: Interested contractors/firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice must provide a capability statement demonstrating their skills and capability to fulfill the requirement listed above. Respondents shall also indicate whether they can provide instructor led and online ASSE 6000 series training and certifications to include training and support. All respondents are requested to identify their GSA Schedule Number, if applicable; firm's size; and type of business based on NAICS 611430 (Professional and Management Development Training). The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 3 pages. Responses shall be submitted via email to Renaldo Williams at renaldo.williams2@va.gov by 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on Friday, April 21, 2017.
