Description

(FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY)   Scope of Work: The VA Facilities Management School (FMS) serves as the primary learning and development resource for the entire VA facility community. In response to the Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act of 2010 (FBPTA), Public Law 111-308, FMS moves forward on a commitment to develop and deliver training that ensures VA complies with the law. FMS provides training to address both technical and business competencies needed to perform both FM and capital project delivery (CPD) functions. Contractors shall provide instructor led commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) trades training courses. The contractor support personnel shall provide Instructor-led courses in both lecture, online, virtual and hands on. Online training classes (on-line library) also preferred, as is access to discounted public offerings and best customer pricing on national seminars or other similar offerings. The scope of COTS trades training courses in the attached spreadsheet. Instructions: Interested contractors/firms responding to this Sources Sough Notice must provide a capability statement demonstrating their skills and capability to fulfill the requirement listed above. In addition, respondents shall indicate IN THE ATTACHED SPREADSHEET, whether you can provide online, virtual, face-to-face or hands-on training for each course listed. Only mark by the courses you can provide in that area; otherwise leave blank. All respondents are requested to identify their GSA Schedule Number, if applicable; firm's size; and type of business based on NAICS 611430 (Professional and Management Development Training). The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, but not to exceed 3 pages (not including the spreadsheet). Responses shall be submitted via email to Renaldo Williams at renaldo.williams2@va.gov by 12:00 Noon Eastern Time on Friday, April 21, 2017.
