- SCA Wage Determination Road Logs Drawings/Specifications combined synopsis solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. This procurement is set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $36.5 Million. Description of Requirement: The work involves road grading, ditch cleaning, roadside vegetation removal, culvert cleaning, culvert outlet protection, installing broad base dips (BBDR), spot surfacing, and other incidental work as per the drawing specifications and as stated in the Road Logs. The road stakes are located along the side of the Forest Roads with pink and/or orange ribbon tied to the stake as per road log. The limestone (including delivery cost) is to be paid for by the Forest Service. The contractor will be responsible to coordinate and supervise the delivery and tail-gate placement of the stone from the commercial source used by the government. The commercial source contact information will be provided to the successful contract awardee. The contractor is responsible for shaping and compacting the stone as per specifications. Seed will also be provided by the government to the contractor. Work is expected to start in June 2017 and take 21 days to complete. There is a site visit planned for 5/8/2017 at 10:30 AM ET. Offerors must have an active registratoin in www.sam.gov in order to submit an offer. Obtaining a DUNS and registering in SAM are free of charge.
