Description
The Contractor shall provide services for relocating the identified equipment listed below from Buildings 277, 418 and 243 to Buildings 422 and 760. The Facility user will verify each piece of equipment is accurately identified. The facility user will also assure the miscellaneous equipment is located in a single location and ready for transport. The user will also ensure all cabinets and contents in the cabinets is secured and able to be transported. The optical tables will be disconnected and ready for the mover to relocate. The contractor shall perform an assessment of the equipment and document if anything is obviously damaged prior to relocating. The facility user shall verify the equipment is in working order before and after the equipment is relocated. Equipment to be relocated from Building 277 to Labs in Building 422: 1. 30 tall cabinets with enclosed Lab Equipment (cabinets will be secured for transport) 2. Seven desks and work stations 3. Four optical tables: Sizes (4'x10', 4'x8', 4'x10', and 4'x10') 4. Five work benches 5. Four work tables 6. Two rolling toolboxes 7. One wall mounted cabinetThis action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. Miscellaneous loose equipment which will be located in a single place and ready for transport 8.
