Answer: Line Item 86 is for miscellaneous replacement projector lamps for projectors currently in use. These projectors are various makes and models, including but not limited to the following: NEC 600s NEC MT1075 NEC NP2000 NEC NP PA5000U-13ZL NEC NP2150 NEC NP2250 NEC NP-PA500U NEC NP-PA500W Christie LW4000 Christie LW600 Christie LWU420 Christie LWU501i Christie LWU505 It is not possible to know the specific quantity of replacement bulbs that will be needed for each projector lamp currently in use. Therefore the offeror shall provide one overall price for miscellaneous projector lamps. Question 2: Document: Attachment_1_Pricing_Tables_Amendment_6.xlsx Reference: Line Item 88, Podium, Accessories, Multimedia Lectern Question: Would you please provide details (H/W/D, desired materials {wood/laminate/etc.}, and requirements for podium lighting, power, rack rails, etc. that the government desires) for the 5 Podiums required? Answer: Multimedia lectern (presentation podium); Sample Product: (36"wide by 44" high), wood veneer finish (mahogany), shelf for key-board, inner shelf, ample room for AV equipment, built in AC power. Question 3: Document: Attachment_1_Pricing_Tables_Amendment_6.xlsx Reference: Line Item 110, N/A, Cables/Connectors, Miscellaneous Installation Materials: To Include cabling, connectors, mounting hardware, wire harness, wire ties, adapters and other accessories, support video resolutions of up to QXGA (2048x1536) and Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) signals. Price to be determined for each customized installation. Question: Would you please provide details for the 5 Miscellaneous Materials required? Answer: Line Item (110) has been deleted. Question 4: Document: Attachment_1_Pricing_Tables_Amendment_6.xlsx Reference: Line item 1, XL worksheet line 11 Level 1 Maintenance/ Warranty Package- 1 Year to include but not limited to the following: Unlimited Local business hours for EST and PST (Monday-Friday) manufacturer telephone support, Next day parts replacement delivery as described in PWS section 4, Software updates and upgrades, and Online support tools. Secondary Reference: Attachment_4_ Maintenance New, line item 2 - 720p or greater codec with North American power cord for Desktop VTC use. Clarifying: ATTACHMENT 1-Equipment BNE tab; Line Item (3) depicts a generic desktop codec 720p or greater. Line Item (11) references the one-year manufacturer warranty required for this bundled order (e.g. line-items 3 through 11). Line item (20) references the one-year manufacturer warranty required for the bundled order Line Items (12) through (20). Line item (29) references the one-year manufacturer warranty required for the bundled order Line Items (21) through (29). Question 5: Is the requirement to include 1-YR maintenance cost on the referenced Attachment_1 pricing table a duplicate of the amended requirement referenced in Attachment_4 pricing table? Same question for all new Codecs list in both Attachment_1 and Attachment_2? Answer: Purchased codecs should include one year of maintenance in the price of the codec. For all subsequent years, continued maintenance for that codec will be purchased on an annual basis. In other words, ATTACHEMENT 4 Maintenance New TAB; Line Items (2, 3, and 4) supports out year (i.e., follow-on) maintenance for new units purchased depicted in (ATTACHMENT 1-Equipment BNE) TAB, Line Items (11, 20, and 29) once the initial first-year manufacturer warranty expires. Question 6: Can you confirm what type of maintenance the customer is looking to have priced? The requirement is asking for "Premier" on some lines and "Advantage Plus" on others. These are Polycom branded support and have varying levels of features and benefits. If you want us to just provide a price for "Partner Premier", we can, but it is important to know that it is different than what is requested. Better than what "Premier" gets you, but not as much as the "Advantage Plus" gets you. Answer: Table depicts required quantities for Polycom Premier and Polycom Advantage Plus Maintenance; Quantities shall be priced as requested. Question 7: Does NAVAIR have a defined timeline and/or plan for moving from the current ISDN infrastructure to a current standard IP based network? Answer: Notional goal is to transition current Video Teleconferencing Product and Service offering from current PRI/BRI (ISDN) infrastructure to an Internet Protocol (IP) based solution (i.e. NMCI network connectivity). No current time-line to support. Question 8: Is the current Zyross platform still supported across the desired Polycom infrastructure and new investments? Answer: Yes. The Zyross application is still and remains a viable asset in the Government's Audio/Video Teleconferencing solution (e.g. RMX 4000) bridges. TBD with new technologies and product offering investments the Government may deploy in the near future. Question 9: According to page 15 of Amendment 6, the Maintenance Spreadsheet, Attachment 4 (Maintenance New), lists the products that "are currently under maintenance". While that may be true for Line Item 4 and 5 it does not appear to be true for line items 1, 2 and 3. The listed description does not match anything currently on the NAVAIR maintenance contract. Can the Government please clarify? Answer: The Attachment 4 pricing table has been revised to remove all quantities for the base year. Question 10: Regarding the requirement on paragraph 2.0 ii. to include the manufacturer/make and model number and unit pricing, does the Government want offerors to include this in Volume 2 - Technical Proposal Sub factor 6 in addition to the Attachment 1 Pricing Table? Answer: The Government will use the offeror's pricing table submission, in a redacted form, to evaluate Subfactor 6 in accordance with Section M. An additional submission in Volume 2 is not required. Question 11: Regarding the requirement to include the manufacturer and model number, does the government want offerors to also include the part number? If so, where? Answer: Part numbers are not required. Question 12: If the Government does not want offerors to include a part number, please provide clarification on how it will evaluate proposals consistently? For example from the Attachment 1- Equipment BNE: line 86 Projector Lamp for Projectors - the price is dependent upon for which projector (unspecified) the lamp is to be purchased, e.g. the price for a projector lamp 003-120457-01 for use in the LWU420 projector has a different cost than the projector lamp 003-120708-01for the LWU501i projector. Answer: Proposals will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror that meets all of the minimum technical requirements. Question 13: Attachment 4 Maintenance New is not referenced in the Pricing Spreadsheet on the Summary Tab. Can the Government please clarify how the pricing from this tab will be used and evaluated? Answer: This has been resolved. The Summary Tab has been updated to show Attachment 4 Maintenance New as part of the summary calculation for CLIN 0003. ONLY VENDORS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED AN OFFER IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION MAY SUBMIT ANOTHER OFFER FOR THIS AMENDMENT.
