- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334118 (Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing). The Ampronix Imaging Technology, Inc. 20" Modalixx G202MD and Sony LMD2765MD is known to meet the Government s needs. The Government is requesting that responsible VOSB or SDVOSB sources respond if it can provide the following items on a basis of given general specifications: Line Item No. Description Qty Unit 0001 G202MD 20" Modalixx G202MD 2 EA 0002 LMD2765MD Sony LMD2765MD 2 EA General Specifications (Four (4) Monitors Total): Two (2) monitors between 19 and 20.1 but mounted side-by-side so they must be the same size: Monitor 1 Color Medical Grade Display 1600 x 1200 resolution, 4:3 Aspect Ratio Minimum 1 input - VGA (HD15) or DVI-I Minimum luminance of 300 cd/m2 Monitor 2 B/W Greyscale Medical Grade Display 1280 x 1024 minimum resolution Minimum 1 input - DVI-D or DVI-I Minimum luminance of 600 cd/m2 A monitor that meets the specs of both will be: Color Medical Grade Display resolutions up to and including 1600 x 1200 1 DVI-I input or DVI-D 1 VGA (HD15) input Minimum luminance of 600 cd/m2 Two (2) monitors between 25 and 27 but mounted side-by-side so they must be the same size: Monitor 1 Color Medical Grade Display 1600 x 1200 resolution, 4:3 Aspect Ratio Minimum 1 input - VGA (HD15) or DVI-I Minimum luminance of 300 cd/m2 Monitor 2 B/W Grey scale Medical Grade Display 1280 x 1024 minimum resolution Minimum 1 input - DVI-D or DVI-I Minimum luminance of 600 cd/m2 A monitor that meets the specs of both will be: Color Medical Grade Display resolutions up to and including 1600 x 1200 1 DVI-I input or DVI-D 1 VGA (HD15) input Minimum luminance of 600 cd/m2 Interested VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334118 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Jim Hedman at james.hedman2@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 12:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time on Friday, April 20th, 2017.
