- STATEMENT OF WORK 11 th Force Support Squadron Facility •I. PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: The Contractor shall provide a Certified and trained instructors to conduct the course associated with Outdoor Recreation programs. Article I: •1. The Contractor agrees to work closely with the Outdoor Recreation Specialist i n providing and sche d ul i ng dates and times for sixteen (16) Outdoor Recreational Programs, beginning 1 J u ne 20 1 7, ending 31 May 20 1 8 with 3 option years ending 2021. The Contractor agrees to offer a variety of the following programs at the stated price with a minimum requirement: •A. Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing. 6 hours outing with two inst r uctors, transportation provided. Capacity up to 1 2 students. M i nimum age 7 yrs. old •B. Jug Bay Kayak Tour 7 hour outing with two instructors, transportation and equipment included. C apacity u p to 1 2 students. •C. Wilderness Survival. 3 Season Skills. 6 hour outing with one instructor, transportation provided. Capacity up to 1 2 students. D. Shenandoah Hiking Series. 8 hour outing with one i nstructor, transportation provided. C a pacity u p to 1 2 students. Minimum age 12 yrs. old. •E. Annapolis Rocks Overnight Rock Climbing. Two day outing with two instructors, transportation included. Capacity up to 8 students. •F. Learn to SUP. 4 hour outing with two instructors, transportation and equipment i ncluded. Capacity up to 1 2 students. Age limit is 12 yrs. old. •G. Introduction to Outdoor Photo Composition. 6 hour outing with one instructor, transportation provided, students should bring their camera and manual. Capacity up to 1 2 a d ults. M i nimum age 14 yrs. old •H. Overnight backpacking in Shenandoah NP. 2 day outing with two instructors, transportation included. Capacity u p to 8 students. I. How to ride a bike. 4hour outing class on base with two instructors, and bikes included. Capacity up to 8 students. Minimum age 7 yrs. old •J. Learn to Kayak with Tour. 6 hour outing with two instructors, kayaks, and transportation provided. Capacity up to 1 2 students. Minimum age (recommended) 1 2 yrs. old •K. Essential Camping Skills. 6 hour outing with one instructor, equipment, and transportation provided. Minimum age (recommended) 1 2 yrs. old. Capacity up to 1 2 students. •L. Introduction to Map & Compass. 6 hour outing with one i nstructor, compasses, and transportation provided. Capacity u p to 1 2 students. Minimum age (recommended) 1 0 yrs. old M. Introduction to GPS Navigation. 6 hour outing with one i nstructor, G PS units, and transportation provided. Minimum age (recommended) 1 0 yrs. old. Capacity up to 1 2 students. N. Introduction to Mountain Biking. 6 hour outing with two i nstructors, transportation, and bikes provided. Capacity u p to 8 students. Minimum age (recommended) 1 4 yrs. old 0. DC Monuments Kayak Tour. 7 hour outing with two instructors, kayaks, and transportation provided. C a pacity up to 1 2 students Article II. •1. The Contractor must provide proof of CPR/FIRST AID, Activity specific instructor training and currency throughout the contract. •2. The Contractor will provide all equipment as state above (ensuring all equipment is pre-checked and safe). •3. The contractor will work closely with the ODR Programmer to arrange transportation for participants. When transportation is provided by the contractor as stated above, the contractor will pick u p and d rop off the participants from Outdoor Recreation bldg. 1 235. •4. The Contractor shall work closely w i th the ODR Programmer to sche d ule any of the 1 5 Outdoor Recreational Programs during any single year. In the event of inclement weather, the contractor shall work with the Outdoor Recreation Program Di rector or Programmer to re-schedule the trip within a reasonable time or refund all funds paid. The contractor shall give a one week notice of unscheduled cancellation of trips other than weather related issues. •5. The contractor agrees to the above stated minimum participants and maximum participants. The program Director will notify the contractor if the participants exceeded the maxi mum re q u i rement within one - week period prior to the scheduled trip. The contractor shall work with the Program Director to attempt to provide another instructor or date for that specific program to accommodate. •6. The contractor agrees to notify the Outdoor Recreation Staff of any injury to a participant during the trip. •7. The contractor, Instructor or Services designee, has the authority to refuse any participant for scheduled or future trips whose conduct is unacceptable with emphasis placed on the follow i ng: •a. Profanity •b. Drunkenness •c. Indecency or obscenity •d. Failure to follow all rules and regulations •e. Standard of good taste and wholesome con d uct must be adhering to at all times. •8. The ODR Program Director or designee will submit a two-week cancellation if participation did not meet the minimum requirement as stated above. •9. The contractor will submit an invoice to Outdoor Recreation Program Director or designee with i n ten (1 0) days of scheduled class. The contractor will receive payment through a Government Purchase Card, VISA/MASTERCARD within seven days of receiving contractors invoice. •10. The Contractor will provide driver(s) information NLT 96 hours (4 days) prior to trip to ensure ample time for access to base facility and location. Drivers name and time of arrival shall be provided to O utdoor Recreation for security verification. The driver must carry with him or her current i nsu rance, registration, license in order to gain access onto JB Andrews. Food is not included on any trip. That is the responsibility of the customer. The scheduled events are decided by ODR Director and Programmer. We contact the contractor to schedule the date and time. The Contractor sets the number of attendance according to which program that has been scheduled. The number of events each year is not set. However the type of events listed on the contract are what is required for ODR to meet AFI 34-110 requirements. Pricing should be per event which includes max participants, equipment, required number of instructors, and transportation. Example: Hiking within a state park should include two instructors -one lead and one follow, access to locations with no out of pocket cost to the customers while on the trip, all hiking gear required, and transportation.
