- Notice Type: Sources Sought/Request for Information SET ASIDE: N/A RF ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS SURVEY PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION: THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMUBRSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATON IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATION (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. 1. PURPOSE This is a sources sought synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources for the anticipated removal and installation of existing spectrum monitor system. 2. REQUIREMENT The Spectrum Relocation Funding program at Edwards AFB California is looking for some sources to conduct RF Environmental Analysis Surveys from designated sites on Edwards AFB CA, AF Plant 42 Palmdale CA, Vandenberg AFB CA, Ft Hunter Liggett CA and Nellis AFB NV. The purpose of the survey is to determine RF monitoring and Direction Finding coverage area, as well as baseline existing Electromagnetic Environment for future Spectrum Monitoring and Direction Finding Systems placement and installation. Some of the specific locations are remote and may not have any infrastructure such as power, communications, or facilities, so survey equipment and crew will need to be self-contained and self-sufficient. Frequency range for the survey/analysis will be from 20 MHz - 8 GHz minimum and 20 MHz to 26 GHz maximum. Deliverable written reports outlining the findings and recommendations for each location will be required at for each site upon completion. 3.
