- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as applicable, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement is being solicited as Full and Open. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 611519- Other Technical and Trade Schools with a Size Standard of $15,000,000.00. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC), No. 2005-95, Effective: 19 Jan 2017. This RFP will be solicited as a commercial simplified acquisition in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13.5. Description of Requirement: This requirement is to provide all management of materials, electronic records, labor, and training necessary to provide the evidence-based Nurse Residency Program (NRP) Services as requested by the 59th Training Group. This service will be incorporated into the AF Nurse Residency Program, the final formal training requirement for novice nurses. The Air Force projects 16 classes with an average student load of 150 students per fiscal year at ten (10) in-patient military treatment facilities. The Contractor shall support development of novice nurse's critical thinking skills and clinical leadership, enabling safe care and improved patient outcomes. This requirement is defined in the PWS.
