Description
Industry Day Registration Form Listing of area hotels Visitor Access Form Industry Day Announcement The Project Director for Joint Services Product Manager for Demilitarization Division, Headquarters Joint Munitions Command, and Army Contracting Command - Rock Island will be hosting an Industry Day to provide information on the planned acquisition and gather feedback from industry for the demilitarization of various Navy Projectiles and Cartridges; Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-17-R-0066. The following is a list of the Conventional Ammunition that will be included in the RFP: • 90 mm Cartridge • 3 inch Projectile • 5 inch Projectile • 6 inch Projectile • 8 inch Projectile • 16 inch Projectile The Industry Day will be held on 7 June 2017. Industry Day and one-on-ones will be held at Arsenal Island Golf Course & Clubhouse at Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, IL starting at approximately 8:00AM CST. An updated notice will be provided at a closer date with final details and maps. The draft RFP W52P1J-17-R-0066 will be available at FBO.gov no later than 08 May 2017. It is requested that all participants review the draft RFP prior to Industry Day, and submit any specific questions and/or comments regarding the draft RFP via email. All questions submitted prior to Industry Day shall be presented via e-mail to Ms. Bridget Kramer at Bridget.L.Kramer.civ@mail.mil with the following subject line, "Industry Day Question - W52P1J-17-R-0066". Questions submitted via facsimile or telephone will not be accepted. Please do not ask any questions that discloses proprietary information; as it is required for all questions and answers to be shared with all interested parties. There will be an allotted amount of time permitted on Industry Day for additional questions and/or comments that may arise. All questions that are received prior to Industry Day, as well as those addressed during Industry Day will be posted at FBO.gov. The U.S. Government intends on having one-on-one sessions with all interested parties following the Industry Day presentation and general discussions have ended. One-on-one sessions must be scheduled prior to Industry Day. When registering your company please include if it is requested to have a one-on-one session with the U.S. Government. A scheduled time will be assigned to each interested party prior to the start of Industry Day. These sessions will be scheduled every half hour. The following topics will be discussed throughout the Industry Day conference: 1) Acquisition Strategy a. Contract Type b. Evaluation Criteria c. Terms and Conditions 2) Requirements a. Contract Data Line Items (CLIN) Groups b. Estimated Quantities/Delivery Schedule c. Technical Data Packages 3) Milestones Please note this invitation is open to all interested parties including small businesses with attendance being strongly encouraged. Advanced registration for the Industry Day is required and must be received by Ms. Bridget Kramer no later than 1500 CST 12 May 2017. Interested parties whom intend on sending representatives to participate in Industry Day must register by sending their completed Registration Form (see attached). Each interested party is allotted a maximum of up to four personnel to attend the Industry Day. Please visit the following link to understand the requirements of gaining access to the Rock Island Arsenal: https://www.usagria.army.mil/accessrequests/. All visitors shall complete the attached visitor access form. This form shall be sent to the Visitor Control Center as indicated on page 2 of the form; please copy furnish Ms. Bridget Kramer on your submission. Additionally, foreign national attendees shall submit formal requests on company letterhead, a copy of their passport, and a copy of a work identification card (badge or business card). The process to be granted approval for foreign nationals does take longer; therefore, the request shall be submitted no later than 03 May 2017.
