Description

Provide interim Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) imaging rental/services to the Wilkes Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center (WBVAMC) for 3 months, from May 1, 2017 to July 31, 2017 while a GE MRI is being removed for the build out and installation of a new MRI system. WBVAMC is requesting a GE HDxT 16.0 MRI system or GE HDxT 15.0 MRI system for seamless transition of WBVAMC technologist competent with the current system they are using. It is expected the Mobile MR delivery /setup will occur on or before May 1, 2017 to allow for direct scheduling of Veterans by VA Butler radiology personnel to patients scheduled internally by the Wilkes Barre VA s own staff and removal as of July 31, 2017 to allow for a smooth transition for the new MRI to be installed. It is anticipated the project will be completed by July 31, 2017.
