Description
Navy Region Northwest (NRNW) has requested the procurement of three Broadcast Microwave System (BMS) DR6000 MK2 six-way diversity receivers and eighteen BMS VLA6515LP directional antennas with integrated LNA. This system will provide omnidirectional reception of a forward looking infrared (FLIR) signal from the Washington State Patrol ™s (WSP) aircraft mounted BMS HD FLIR cameras. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with BMS per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 21 Apr 2017 with a closing date of 5 May 2017. This requirement is to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed Price, supply type contract. The place of delivery is Silverdale, WA. 98315. F.O.B. Destination. Required delivery 10-days after contract award. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Prospective offerors should register themselves on the NECO website. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or Faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS.
