- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY, for the Supply of Bottled water and Extended Shelf Life bottled water. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Logistics Management Division (LMD) intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) seeking firms with experience in the area of providing Bottled water and Extended Shelf Life bottled water FEMA has an ongoing need to procure emergency supplies and commodities in large quantities to provide immediate emergency logistics support to survivors that are affected by disasters in the CONUS and OCONUS area. In order to maintain the highest state of readiness in the event that disaster may strike, FEMA needs to replenish Initial Response Resources to acceptable levels by ensuring commodities are not depleted below minimum stock level. FEMA anticipates awarding a multiple award indefinite- delivery-indefinite -quantity Firm Fixed-Price Contract with a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods to begin on or about September 28, 2017. Option years will be exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. The procurement will be commercial items acquisition IAW following FAR 12. The applicable NAICS: 312112 Offerors MUST be registered within the SAM database in order to receive an award for this procurement. The website for SAM is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. SAM is a Federal Government owned and operated free web site that consolidates the capabilities in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)/FedReg, and Online Representation and Certifications Application (ORCA). Future phases of SAM will add the capabilities of other systems used in Federal procurement and awards processes. Again, this is not a Request for Proposal. No questions will be taken at this time.
