Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the Richmond Veteran Center located in Richmond, Virginia. The current lease is expiring August 31, 2017. Requirement State: Virginia City: Richmond Delineated Area: North: South Boulevard South: Libbie Avenue East: Patterson Avenue West: West Broad Street Minimum NUSF: 4,458 Maximum NUSF: 4,458 Space Type: Clinical All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before September 1, 2017. Term, lease term will be 15 years; 5 year firm fixed price with two 5 (five) years renewal options. The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 4902 Fitzhugh Avenue Richmond, VA 23230. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Richmond Veteran Center should relocate. All responses are due by April 24, 2017.
