- NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for Deep Saturation Dive Training utilizing the Aquarius Reef Base (ARB) habitat, Key Largo, FL in accordance with the Performance Work Statement to be provided in the forthcoming solicitation. The acquisition will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Florida International University per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Period of Performance is anticipated to be June 15, 2017 through June 14, 2018. Performance will be at Florida International University “ Aquarius Site, Key Largo, Florida. A Firm-fixed Price, Requirements type contract will be awarded, consisting of a Base year plus four one-year option periods in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5 commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about April 28, 2017 with a closing date on or about May 24, 2017. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
