Description
Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number F3CTGS7075AW02 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (get from http://farsite.hill.af.mil). (iv) This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215 with a size standard of 500 employees. (v) CLIN 0001 High Density Mobile Shelving Unit or approved equal -1 each Codes Vault Mobile Shelving Unit or approved equal - 1 each Shielded Enclosed Shelving Unit or approved equal - 1 each All units shall include on site installation CLIN 0002 Removal and disposal of current High Density Mobile Shelving Unit System See attached Request for Quotation. (vi) High Density Mobile Shelving Unit or approved equal: The first carriage (right hand side)should be stationary and have a drawer section with the minimum dimensions of 30" wide x 24" deep and 59.5" tall with the remaining space from 59.5" up to a maximum of 91" having shelves and the two remaining sections be shelving. The stack of drawers should start contain (4) drawers 9" tall, (3) drawers 6" tall, (1) drawer 4.5" tall. Above the drawers should be shelving in the remaining space from 59.5" up to 91". The next (6) mobile carriages are divided by 3 sections 48" wide and 24" deep, double sided so the total width of each carriage is 144" long x 48" deep. Carriages should have individual wheel locks for safety. The final mobile carriage is single sided with 3 sections of 48" wide and 24" deep and will have solid back to aid in security of contents. The overall maximum dimensions are 144" long x 24" deep. The total of all (8) units should have an overall locking system for security purposes. Overall height of the entire unit should not exceed 91" high. Codes Vault Mobile Shelving Unit or approved equal: Carriage area length 100" with two carriages in the identified space. Carriage A is stationary and Carriage B is mobile. Carriage A requires a solid cabinet rear wall the entire length of Cab A to prevent unauthorized access. Cab B will be open on both sides. All shelves will allow for removability, expansion, and height adjustment/placement. Carriage dimensions for Cab A are depicted in the attached drawing. Section A1, has two sections the first is 35.5" wide x 30" deep with four (4) shelves and the second section is 35.5" wide x 30" deep with six (6) shelves, both partitions, must allow the section to be securable with a two person control dual shackle padlock design (NSN: 5340-00-285-6523). The securable section should use a tamper resistant door system to prevent access without opening both dual shackle padlocks and secure tightly to the frame when closed. Section A2, has one section that is 46" wide x 30" deep with six (6) shelves. Carriage dimensions for Cab B, are depicted in the attached drawing. Sections 1 and 2, are identical with dimensions of 35.5" wide x 30" deep with seven (7) shelves in each. Section 3, has dimensions of 46" wide x 30" deep with seven (7) shelves. Overall height of the entire unit cannot exceed 94.5" high. Overall width of the carriage system cannot exceed 128" wide. Shielded Enclosed Shelving Unit or approved equal: Carriage area length 140.5" with four carriages in the identified space. Individual carriage length 49" x 25.5 wide x 93" high. All carriages will be identical and open on both sides with 7 shelves in each cabinet. All shelves will allow for removability, expansion, and height adjustment/placement. All units are movable without a stationary unit at either end. See attached Performance Work Statement and Floor Plans. (vii) Place of delivery is Minot AFB, ND 58705 and is FOB destination. (viii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this procurement. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the items above. Award shall be based on best value to the government. (x) The government advises Offerors to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Offerors are also reminded to complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at http://www.sam.gov/portal prior to submitting an offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable: 52.219-6, 52.204-10, 52.209-6, 52.222-3, 19, 21, 26, 36, 50, 52.223-18, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33. (xiv) There is no Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating applicable for this procurement. (xv) All offerors must submit a quote by 10:00 am Central Standard Time on Wednesday, 26 April 2017. Quotes received after that time may not be considered.
